A man presents himself to St. Peter at the gates of Heaven. He tells him
“So… I see that you have led a life without infamy and without praise… but I see no acts of goodness such as to ensure your entrance into Heaven…”.
“I actually saved a woman from being mugged.
There were two young men and I confronted them and told them
Why do you take it out on a woman… you bastards… try with a big and strong guy like you…’ and so the woman was able to escape…”.
St. Peter is perplexed
“Strange… but I don’t see this event written in the book of your life… when would it have happened?”
“About 5 minutes ago!”
