A blonde and a brunette are watching the 8pm news.
The images show a man about to jump from the twentieth floor of a building. The brunette says
“I bet you a hundred euros that he throws it away.”
The blonde thinks for a moment and then accepts. A few seconds later the man jumps. The blonde loses the bet and pays.
At that point, however, the brunette, overcome by remorse, says to her friend:
“I can’t take your money. I’ve already seen these images on the 1:00 news.”
And the blonde:
“I saw them too, but I didn’t think he’d throw himself back in again…”
